This program is designed to assist small, disadvantaged businesses compete in the federal marketplace. Critical benefits of this highly competitive program include: 1) Sole-source contracts (up to a ceiling of $4 million for services); 2) 8(a) Business Development Mentor-Protégé Program; and, 3) Training, counseling, assistance and development provided by the SBA and other parties.
Founded in 2004, Oran will have over 15 years’ experience supporting the federal government to bring to this 9-year program, with a graduation date of 06/2029. “Obviously we are very excited about the many opportunities this provides partnering with both the Federal government and other Industry partners,”: said Meeta Bhuyan, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Oran. “Receiving this notification just prior to the release of critical, best-in-class contracting vehicles such as GSA 8(a) STARS III and CIO-SP4 SB is perfect timing for Oran and will only help us continue our growth in the future,” said Saroj Rout, Vice President.
